I can't find it, i went desperate mode and noclipped, not even that way.. thisis the biggest headache in a duke map ive ever had!!

Sorry mate. Some other people noted it was difficult to find. The hint is in the read-me file, there is a tunnel/vent in the derelict office. I hope you enjoyed the rest of the map though.

OK, here ya go. And sorry for the shitty brightness, but that's how I play Duke 3D B) I'm sure the brightness level will not prevent you from finding what you're looking for.

    P.S.:
    Spoiler

That's waaay darker than it was for me! :( On my computer it was shaded, but not pitch black as it was at your place.

I had intended it to be a bit of a find, but I had hoped the random cupboard in the empty room would make people investigate. As I've mentioned, there were some good and some bad things in this map, and I know now that I won't do it again in this manner.

What makes you say that? Sure, there'd be a fair amount of abandoned unfinished works sitting on peoples' hard drives, but very few mappers would finish a map and then not go through the small amount of effort to put it online.

Yeah I meant mostly the first part - I think a lot of maps exist in this half-finished/not ready for publishing state and are left like that forever. I could be entirely wrong ofcourse, I don't have any data to back this hunch up.

I released 2 maps for Duke3D, the last one recently, so I'm a mapper I guess.
But I'm not sure if I'll ever going to release another one.
Point is, mappers do a map when they are in the mood to. ;-)

Yup. And then I bet the majority of maps are never released to the public either.

Wow, such a quick response! And it works very well too. Thanks man. I wouldn't have found it without your help.

Check the EDuke32 wiki for list of keys.

Select a sector with altgr; then press CTRL+R. It will grey out any sector not on the same height level.

Additionnaly you can use 2D/3D view mode (F3 ; change the view with Q and W)

Thank you! I found it hard to belief it wasn't included - I guess I was looking at wrong place. Again, many thanks. I will certainly have use for this :)

Yeah honestly that editor looks sexy as fuck with the different useful menus.

The learning curve from DukeEdit to BUILD/Mapster32 was steep, but thankfully doable. DukeEdit did sadly not support 3D-editing, so I was (and still am) very happy with Mapster's capabilities :)
I've included some more screenshots I managed to dig up for you to drool over ;)
