I have been resisting the latest Eduke32 and using old version just because when I open it I get a window saying this APP cant run on your PC.
But now I need it.
Eduke32debug does nothing because it wont launch to begin with.
Pic attached.
Windows 10
Nividia GEFORCE GTX 960m

At the bottom i can see "application" with 0KB size
You sure it downloaded correctly and didnt get harvested by a virus scanner?
This error eppears if the exe is 16bit OR the header/program is malformed.

I wonder if it is your program of choice, I didn't think WinRAR had 7zip support.
I've zipped up the EDuke32 revision you're trying to download.

You're not downloading the debug version.
Your target:
eduke32_win32_20180412-6834.7z
the debug version:
eduke32_win32_debug_20180412-6834.7z
7-zip is free, and a good tool.

Upgrade WinRAR to 7-Zip. We compress with LZMA2, which WinRAR or the WinRAR version you're using may not support.

You should at least make people know that. Not everyone is as pro as we are, and without EDuke32 they will get bored and succumb to drugs and cockfights.

I would need to code something in PHP for all synthesis subdirectories to show a message like that. Hopefully WinRAR can simply get its shit together.

I haven't bothered to upgrade WinRAR in 2 years and the version I have reads our 7z files fine.

I using WinRAR 5.40 b4, totally fine, everyone of 7z archive are perfect working even I still have 7zip installed for some rare ones only worked on 7zip itself(very rare, really).
If you cannot open 7z package with WinRAR, most likely it just too old, very old, at least I never have problems with 7z archives after started using 5.00 and later.
