I have been mapping for years with models and never knew I could enable the clipshape map in Mapster in a batch file.
So it looks like your troubles helped me find a solution to one of mine.

Good to know I helped you, since I never do mapping with Build/Mapster32(I still can't get used it, sadly)...
But I just remembered someone(forgot who) said " 'Mapster32 /?' will shows the help screen" (then even remembered someone said about one can load custom GRPs in Mapster32 too) and I tried that then it works.
After all, Mapster32 still part of Eduke32, isn't it?

Hello. Thank a lot you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed the game
It was not intended, but yes, people often told me that my characters reminded them of Wolf3D I just designed them as I did them in the 2D series:
I worked on it between last December and the end of March.
On the corner of my desk, there is a sheet on which I note my ideas for episode 2, but much remains to be done. It will take a moment, I'm afraid.
Thanks again

I found a bug though, I got here without cheating by jumping from the car. But now I can't get back out xD

Thank you ^^ This is not a bug : just a place where you're not suppose to be Hence the "hello" that I have set for too curious people.
Can you just load your game to come back a bit before you go there ? If you don't, send me a pm, I'll got a solution

I really liked the humour and all the small touches, like what happens when you shoot that one poster.
As for the art style, I think you should have honored it completely. Some things stick out with the rest, most notably the look of the weapons and a few textures like the rocky one. To me it felt like a missed opportunity to make it completely cartoony.
In terms of levels there was a nice variety of places, but not everything felt intuitive. If you make a 2nd episode I think you should be careful with decorative doors, invisible walls and hidden switches. Mind you they weren't too bad, but they were still present to a degree worth mentionning. There were also a couple of times when windows couldn't be broken, yet if I'm not mistaken they look just like other types of windows that can be broken.
At the start of the train crash map I also felt like the goal wasn't intuitive. The door was hidden, the windows of the building looked decorative and it didn't feel like there could have been something behind, and the ledges and other things you have to jump onto were small and didn't feel like I was supposed to jump on.
Anyway, great job!

Mhiii Thank you very much. I could do it quickly because 20% of the graphic elements are recovered from my previous games, as well as 7 musics for 8 (only "MenuT3D" is new). In addition, I was very motivated

For the base, yes But if you read the advanced part of the MTK Wiki, you will notice that I created a lot of elements that allowed possibilities that do not exist in Duke3D.
To name only these paragraphs: Cashiers and other agressive civilians, Labocards , Bomber Plane & Helicopter , PopEvents ... and many others ...

The 2D trilogy was an RPG and Point'n'Click hybridization. It seemed normal to me to have kept some kind of puzzle solving in the gameplay
BTW: @MetHy : I forgot to add this element in my answer, on last Tuesday
Thank you again for taking the time to test this mod

A small part of my new ideas ... for an MTK second episode ? ...

You also did a really good job of making the world feel alive, through all the world building, little details, and bits of interactivity. There was also a nice amount of problem solving to progress. The combat was relatively simple, but robust and fun.
I hope that this mod gets noticed and doesn't get buried/swept under the rug of history; it's an enjoyable, polished and consistent piece of work that feels pretty unique.
I'm also amazed you made it so quickly, and I'm assuming you had no experience with the build engine starting off?
#49 Posted 22 April 2018 - 06:24 AM
I really like creating small worlds and making them alive and full of surprises ^^
I already made a lot of maps in the past But, before this game, I had not tried any changes in GAME.COM yet. Fortunately, I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

By the way, great mod! It's full of of original and fresh ideas, one after another. Enemies are also very charismatic and varied. My only complain is that it was designed with Polymer in mind, which is not suported by my computer, but soon I'll get a new one, so I'll be able to enjoy the mod in proper conditions.
