It launches for me, but i'm noticing a few minor issues. Duke really hauls ass and there's this... THING in front of me. I don't even know.

Obviously, just like with Lameduke, this thing is going to take finagling.

If you open up the Patches folder that was included with the download, you can drag the contents of "Mega Patch" onto the latest build and it'll fix most of those issues. The real headscratcher is figuring out how to get widescreen resolutions working, because editing the INI files doesn't seem to do anything.

Holy cow. I played Duke Nukem Forever 2001 today. Unbelievable. This is so surreal man. And there's actually some kind of loosely fit story to this thing. It's largely empty but there are scripted events at key points and there was a skeletal structure for sure. Interesting that the strip club section is there but ends slightly differently. And some chick said something about time travel?? Also, the computer generated dialogue was pretty funny.

It doesn't use the INI files in the System folder. You have to go to Players\Duke\DukeForever.ini and edit those values. Then it works. I was playing in 4k but the framerate was bad. Putting it at 1080p works silky smooth though.

Yeah they used Jane's lines from Land of the Babes for placeholder dialogue.
