I'm currently working on updating my old EDuke32 and Shadow Warrior Port french guides (I'm thinking of making english versions later, I have to enhance my english level before).
My problem is I'm not sure to correctly understand some options, can anyone help me ?
EDuke32
On-disk texture cache - On : textures are handled by the GPU of the video card in its native format, then stored on disk instead of on its cache.
On-disk texture cache - Compr : textures are handled by the GPU of the video card in its native format, compressed, then stored on disk instead of on its cache.
SWP
Texture Cache : textures are handled by the GPU of the video card in its native format, then stored on disk instead of in its cache.
Texture Compress : textures are handled by the GPU of the video card in its native format, compressed, then stored on its cache.
Useful for video cards with little RAM.
Alpha Channel : normal for classic transparency effects, enhanced for enhanced transparency effects.
