Spawn items

Hello everybody im asking this question

how do i spawn items without the circle that appears when something spawns

for example: i want to spawn Fire when a thing explodes (Permanent) but when it spawns it appears with a Circle on it and then it goes to normal

i want to get rid of that circle, is there a way to do it?

In one of my projects I was already adding new content so I just created a blank texture and def'ed it in to replace the spawn tile number. Not sure if thats any help to you if you are using only stock textures.

to spawn without seeing that spawning star, you must do con hacking / coding.

useractor notenemy actorname

do stuff, var etc.

spawn BURNING (it will spawn a fire that goes after several seconds) If you put spawn FIRE I think it will put a perma fire
spawn EXPLOSION2 (for your thing to explode before it dies)
killit (means ur spawner dies
enda

Not exactly coding, but anyway ill try to disguise the fire that comes out as much as possible

Alternative way

if you play in 8bit more.

you edit the tile art that contain the sprite and remove it the texture.
it will effect lizard appearing spark/flash, cus they use same texture
And anything else using it.


in polymost/polymer mode if it has a HR texture of that.
you replace it by an invisible .png file
