RELEASED New map for DUKEPLUS  "based on 1st level of DOOM2"

Here is a map for DukePlus that I have been working on in between other projects. It has been on my drive for so long and now that HHR has been released I'm going to clear out a few minor projects so I can get back to some bigger ones. It is basically a keycard hunt map but it uses a number of DukePlus features including placing fuses to activate something. It's playable but unfinished. A few areas without details. You may have to cheat yourself some health or ammo. Not sure because it hasn't been playtested much.

Made to be played with HRP and Polymer lighting. Anything else will be buggy. My version of DukePlus ( 2.40 ) still uses the autoload folder which contains an older HRP and XXX folders. I'm guessing those 2 folders could be replaced by the single newest HRP folder. Make sure autoload box is checked in the start menu.
Just drop this map into the main DukePlus folder and choose it from "user map" in the main menu and play.

BTW, there is no ending in the map so don't go looking all day for it. ;)

"DOOM2remake"? It's sound strange to me that is all 30/32 maps of the game in a single map (quite like the Knee Deep for WGRealms 2, but we are talking of the reproduction of just 9 maps of one episode only there). Can I know what is exactly before downloading?

One small map for Mark.

One giant episode per level

Thanks for releasing it.
Map works fine, with some hick-ups, as you wrote.

Hate me if you must, but this map has very little resemblance to Doom2 Level 1; more like a Doom 3 level, but with action and without silly cut scenes.

The things I don't know could fill libraries.

One small cool map. B)

Anyway, if one day someone want to actually try to make an all 32 DOOM 2 joined levels for DN3D, vanilla or for WGREALMS 2 (3?), it may start from convert the structure of the Memorial map.

If you pretend the walls are bare and the rooms are empty you would definitely see the resemblance in the first half of the map before you go outside. Except for my add-ons the structure is very similar.

Say what?

Not sure where my Doom 3 is, so from YouTube, sort of after all the intros and cut scenes ...

Thus, well done map, but feels like an enhanced Doom 3

But as soon as you walk around the corner from my map start the similarity is there. ;)

This was meant as a compliment, not a criticism. :)

I was shocked. I went back to the "unfinished content" thread and saw that there were 200 downloads of this map. I had given up on it before I did more with it recently and thats why I released it there.

Hey Mark would you mind filling out a Map template for this map so I can include it on my site?
