Hello im asking this.
Am i able to put custom music into my custom map im creating? if so in which format it has to be and can it be music from other games?

You can do it in EDuke32 by having the song as the same name as the map. I'm not sure what all the supported formats are but .midi, .ogg and .flac work.

If it's small enough a .wav file will work, but it has to be small. I stick to MIDI's, they sound, and work, the best.

The main item to note is that the sequence of the music file needs to match the sequence of your maps, it does not need to match the name of the maps.
For single user maps, just write the file name of your music file into eights slot under:
User.con
// Music for the individual levels
music 1 file1 ... file7 file8(deathtoll.mid) to MySong.[Ogg] or which ever format your song is.
And package the map, sound file and user.con.

So i have two ways of putting custom music, but its ok if i put Music from other games say like Doom or Shadow Warrior?
