EDuke32 crashes in attempt to load a level with the HRP

EDuke32 crashes when it tries to load a level with the HRP in my autoload. I'm using the polymost override, I will try to see if this happens with the regular HRP. I'm using the latest 64-bit build.
EDIT: Ooh, it happens with the regular HRP too.
EDIT2: I've looked into the log, and discovered that before it writes the config files, it shows an error that says g_errorLineNum: 0, g_tw: 0

The first thing I try when something odd happens after messing with added textures is I delete the "textures" and "textures cache" files. Those 2 files get rebuilt the next time Eduke runs. It has solved many glitches.

Is there any crash without the HRP?

I vaguely suspect you're running out of memory. Not really certain at the moment how to investigate further.

Does this occur in older EDuke32 versions?

Nope.

1) Are you running any Mods like DukePlus?
2) Disable Map Hacks
3) Can you please make sure you are running Eduke32 in clean install folder with just a default install no mods\existing cfg files\exec\textures or load any custom cons\directories.

If the game loads, then install the HRP into that same install folder and post back with your results.

There's a few things that caught my eye such as:
Using C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Duke Nukem 3D Twentieth Anniversary World Tour/ for game data - This shouldn't be using this location for Game Data. I highly doubt the HRP is compatible with the World Tour Duke3d.GRP.
Using C:/GOG Games/Duke Nukem 3D/ for game data
Using C:/Users/Sht/Documents/EDuke32/ for game data

If you look at his log file it seems like he is loading stuff from various sources and mixing together.

I'm using C:/GOG Games/Duke Nukem 3D/ for game data.
I have EDuke32 installed into a folder in my documents.
Whenever there's a new build up, I unzip the new build's contents into that folder.
I'm not running mods like DukePlus.
I'll tell you the results of not using maphacks.

EDIT: It crashed during four tests.
All tests were without maphacks.
TEST1: Polymost HRP in Polymer - Crashed
TEST2: Polymost HRP in Polymost - Crashed
TEST3: Polymer HRP in Polymer - Crashed
TEST4: Polymer HRP in Polymost - Crashed

Do older versions have the same issue?

Please try debug exes to see if it creates an eduke32.crash.log.

1. Yesterday's latest build doesn't have this issue.

2. The debug build gave me an error that said "Caught exception 0xC0000005 at 0xC00000000002B3CC0: Access Violation."
Here's the crash log.

Thanks for the information. I've replicated the crash and fixed it on my end. Please try r6221 when it builds.

What was the cause of the crash? I would like to merge that CL over to my branch.
