Help my ubuntu computer all of a sudden cnt use eduke32

So i was turning on eduke32 just now and it would shut down after the opening menu i couldnt do anything so i decied to restart the whole process and when doing so the whole svn thing it was making everything except then this happened U eduke see revision 6110. I tried many times and it didnt work. i really liked this port help please.

so it got better and i could compile it but still when i turn on the game after the title screen it blacks out and shuts off. it happened randomly after i could play it just fine last week.

also when duke nukem forever with dlc it shuts off later and the log is here

OK I know nothing about ubunto but I hate to see a player go because no one cared to answer! I'm familiar with the scripting code used in DNF, and I can see from the log that there are lots of warnings it throws at you. I have some newer code which doesn't throw up any warnings, and you could try it and see if that helps. No guarantees it will make any difference, though.

In the mean time, what happens when you run the vanilla game? If you are still having problems with vanilla, there's not much point in worrying about DNF.

This looks like a bug that one of us developers would need to spend time delving into the code to find it.

"eduke32: source/duke3d/src/savegame.cpp:1801: void sv_postprojectileload(): Assertion `g_numProjectiles == onumprojectiles' failed." is a promising lead.

Are you by any chance trying to load a savegame from a different EDuke32 version or platform?

first two things nope im not running a different savegame also i ditched this build and got a different chroot for my chromebook and so far no worries. Also for anyone intreasted this all started when i tried to play the duke forces mod which showed the title and did nothing.

Yeah I now realize that was you posting on Mod DB. Since it's working now, would you mind posting an update there? When someone posts to say the mod isn't working, and then doesn't post again, it leaves the impression that the mod is broken. You didn't even say what OS you were using.
