I mean first of all just look at this!

Oh yeah and keep this in mind:
Posted Image

Also there are only 2 known videos of game footage apart from the cinematic reveal.
My link
My link

OK so we have known about Andromeda for a while but we have seen so little of it
- The game has been delayed many times.
- Many key developers have left.
- Bioware and EA are putting no effort into marketing.
- The released footage is unimpressive at best.
- The Gameplay designer is a racist prick
- Oh god those facial animations.
- The game is only 2 months from rel.......wait WHAT!!?

It's only 2 MONTHS away from release? In THIS state!?
With these 2 mediocre gameplay videos and 1 cinematic reveal is the only footage we have!?

I can't be the only one who sees that this game is gonna be a total disaster.

Shouldn't surprise you. That's what you get when your team is full of talentless people from tumblr who work for dirt and whine about white males all the day on twitter instead of working. I mean did you see the same DA:I where everything, especially animations looks like trash? Or better look at the last DLCs for it. And this game is supposed to be AAA game.

Bioware you knew many years ago is dead and no doubt EA know that this pile of shit is going to bomb horribly as well, hence it's in a such state and has little to zero marketing. No wonder they closed Bioware forums, EA is probably going to kill them for good after ME bomb. And hopefully rumors about new KOTOR game are bullshit because I'm sure TORtanic would be nothing compared to a new KOTOR game from them.

Wow, that's brutal. Especially the part where she disarms the guy-- zero change in expression, just that plastic smile.

I've had friends suggest I play the series, but after reading up on the current state of Bio Ware and some of the people working there, I just lost interest.

Honestly, just play two Star Wars KOTOR games if you want to play space RPGs, the first one was developed by Bioware when they were fine, the second by Obsidian which I find the best KOTOR game.

The first ME is considered the best ME game (even though combat there is meh) and people probably are right, the story there is pretty good and maybe worth reading everything in codex, plus there aren't many space opera games or let alone space opera RPGs, the game was a novelty for its time. But personally I find the game decent at best because I was bored even during the first playthrough (if only it had better gameplay). The second ME feels more like a spin-off and has even less RPG elements, though combat there improved, if you like shooters more (cover shooters especially) you might like this game, I liked it mostly for the atmosphere and it was fine for me, was able to finish the game twice before it got boring. The third game is quite decent TPS with even less RPG features and with a quite shitty story, mostly because of the ending. Gameplay there was perhaps the best thing in the game or even the whole series which is why multiplayer is the best part of ME3 and that's where I spent most of my time when I played the game.

Still, it might be worth getting into the series starting with the first game. If you won't like it (the story and the atmosphere), don't bother with the rest games. And don't bother with Andromeda at all, it's not even related to original trilogy, it's just another countless and soulless reboot. I actually know no one who is waiting for it or even acknowledges it.

I feel like this is a constant for RPGs (for me). The less like an RPG a game is the better the combat. I felt the same way about Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, which are respectively "more RPG" to "less RPG" and "not great combat" to "great combat." So maybe I'd prefer ME2...

I wouldn't call Skyrim combat great considering they aimed to make it like in Dark Messiah where combat is indeed great. It was better than in previous games, but it definitely wasn't the reason why I played the game. But it's still possible to have good combat in RPGs, Souls games and Dragon's Dogma are good examples.

Anyway, you might like it better, I did like it more for this reason too. The same can be said about ME3 where multiplayer is the best thing as I mentioned (even DLCs there are free, though there is grind for items, yeah).

I'm still trying to figure out why everyone despises Skyrim's combat. It was everything I wanted it to be. It was a first person game with first person mechanics. What more do you want?

I like Skyrim's one too, simple enough without complicated combo or timing related things and it's FP just perfect for me(except that stupid kill-move slow-mo that may get yourself killed), but I guess everyone has his/her own taste...

If only 1-2 enemies, then it's not become problem, but if you're facing about 5 or more of them, and since you don't know when the killmove started in which one enemy you kill, it may happens on the anyone and may happens when you're low of health and too close to enemies, and you won't hurt in during animation but you're defenseless on the short time when the VATS(kill-move cam) stops.

Sometimes the battle may get too hot and you may forget your position and leave you on such bad situation that caused you get killed when someone just found a good timing to stab you. It's still avoidable if you keep distances on them but sometimes you just can't avoid that shit happens if you're low of health + bad luck.

It's not that Skyrim combat is shit, it's just fine, for me at least. I personally wouldn't call it a flaw (my real problem was "bullet sponge" enemies on hardest difficult), but my only positive reaction toward it was that it became better than in previous TES games. You really have to check Souls or DD games if you haven't played DM yet (even though former two are third person) and you absolutely should play DM. This game has probably the best first person combat in RPG and I was really disappointed that they promised DM-like combat in Skyrim too and didn't deliver (ironically DM was developed by Arkane). Seriously, tell me how you would take Skyrim combat over this:

And most importantly it plays great too. I still remember when my friend told me about DM and I couldn't believe that this game has this kind of gameplay while it's also first person RPG. Funny that this game still can be considered novelty to this day. This game was the biggest reason why I wanted to see Duke Nukem game on source engine.

Also, yes, it seems like there are no mods which changes Skyrim combat and it's very sad. If ZeniMax released source code maybe, but source code release never going to happen. Though who knows, perhaps OpenMW (basically Morrowind open source project) will have great combat mods.

I did play the DM and completed 2 times(with my shitty skill on such games, I did cheated, sadly), but about its combat I just only remembered a glitch...

Don't ask me how to do that, I never be able to reproduce that again. :P

There are some combat mods on Skyrim but since the core part on engine just unmoddable so they're just limited...

It was delayed once.

I don't think any previous ME game had more than two gameplay trailers out 2 months before launch. It gets tons of marketing. They just released another video yesterday. Bioware games have always had bad animations, but were still fun games.

I think people are making a mountain out of a molehill here, saying if one video had a bad animation that proves the whole game will be a disaster.

I'm looking forward to it, should be good stuff. At the very least, Bioware's character interactions, fun dialogue, and story for me have generally hit the spot. Only exception for me being some stuff in ME3 particularly the ending stuff. Will be tough to top Mass Effect 2, that's my fav, love how that one played out.

I don't really look at much promotional material, since I know I'll be giving it a try in a couple months anyway.

Mass Effect is my favorite series of all time, and Mass Effect 3 is my favorite game of all time. It took Descent 17 years to get knocked off my #1 spot.

RPG purists bitch about it's "watered down" nature, and they're full of shit. If you want to play a shitty open world game that is massive, time consuming, largely empty and has a shitty story, be my guest. If you want the best elements of RPG's distilled into a concentrated form, with breakneck pacing, endless dialogue/plot choices, the only good lore in gaming and lots of intellectual backing, it's going to be right up your alley.

ME1 still has some of the problems RPG's face, but to a much lesser extent. They are gone in ME2 and ME3.

This series is all about pacing. Even ME1 lacks the "errand boy" qualities that plague RPG's. A completionist trilogy playthrough is between 135-150 hours, but with a few exceptions you can accomplish all kinds of goals just by sitting down two hours at a time. With the exception of Feros and the Omega DLC, all of the missions in the trilogy are about 45-90 minutes. So yes, the pacing is definitely breakneck. I'm not one of those guys who can play games for four hours at a time, let alone be in one room for that long, but I've done 8-10 hour runs of ME2 and ME3 before I burn out simply due to the fast pacing and constant change of scenery. It's very hard for cabin fever to kick in when you're playing this.

Before I go any further, NEVER BUY THESE GAMES. Pirate them. There's over 30 hours of DLC in the trilogy, and almost all of it is relevant. I had no idea what parts were DLC until I looked it up after I beat everything. They integrate that well.

The shooting is excellent in ME2, and superb in ME3. The ability to manipulate gravity really changes things up and allows for a multitude of different play styles. When you combine this with squad based gameplay, and ME3's beautiful weapon/upgrade/weight system, you get something really special. I've sometime spent five minutes in the squad/weapon selection screens just playing with upgrades, weight (which reduces/increases ability recharge time), and choosing what abilities to level up. Although the level designs might be kind of generic, the environmental design is top fucking notch, and the combat complexity stems not from the levels but from the enemy types and everything I listed above.

It's one of my favorite shooters.

Although they did drop the ball on a few decisions, for the most part, what you do has impact. The best ending in ME3 is unobtainable if you show a certain kind of morality involving some decisions in ME2. Overall the plot of the entire series is an A+++, as in, un-fucking surpassable, especially ME3. Oh and the characters? Never before did I feel empathy for characters in a video game. I love talking to everyone. I genuinely care about some of them and treat them differently. There were so many scenes in ME3 that made me cry, especially the ending. The ending is a fucking soul crusher, as it should be. The more you get into the game, the more it hurts. Read enough lore, talk to enough people, leave no stone unturned, and you'll break the fuck down. I cried for over ten minutes, from about ten seconds after I made that final choice till after the credits rolled, then cried again for another ten after the epilogue. I've never had anything make me lose my shit like that short of a person or pet dying.

And at the end of the day, that's why people hate Mass Effect 3's ending. It sucked when it came out, but after all the DLC came out and the dust cleared, and it turned into something magical, they still hated it.

Why?

Because it's the current year, and people are pussies. The two other people I know who love Mass Effect as much as I do are fellow extroverts - alpha male ones. Not SJW beta male cunts. Years after us "latecomers" beat this game, we STILL can't talk about the ending without choking up, and we always stop there.

People want escapism. They don't care that ME3's ending is nearly as beautiful as it is sad, because they don't want works of art. They want feel good crap. Their lives suck, and they don't have the balls to improve, it, so they turn to happy colored pixels. When ME3's overall plot was so sad compared to the first two, they were pissed. When they were denied a happy ending, they freaked out.

You're fighting the fucking reapers. You ever hear of the Fermi Paradox? This is the superpredator theory. You're not getting rainbows and puppy dogs, faggot.

That's what makes Mass Effect 3 so great - you can never actually beat it, you just lose a little bit less each time. This game will always leave you a sobbing mess after all is said and done.

This series ruined gaming in a way nothing else ever did - it left me perpetually chasing the dragon. No experience will ever be that good again. The entire journey was just fucking awe inspiring and mentally stimulating from start to finish. It also ruined my faith in the industry. As long as gamers are such giant faggots we have no hope. You can't sell quality to a shit audience.

Oh, and as for how I feel about Andromeda? I'm waiting with baited breath. Especially after the fucking abortion that was Deus Ex: Blandkind Divided, I don't want to get my hopes up. Too many SJW's on staff, too little creator involvement, too much Justin Trudeau running that snowy shithole to the north. No one who truly mattered at Bioware is still there.

Seriously though, Blandkind Divided? Ugh. I tried to write a review and gave up after I noticed Microsoft Word was clocking me in at nine pages before I even finished. There's no way I could condense that much sucking. Hands down the worst game I ever managed to complete - it took a four day break followed by two bottles of Russian Standard vodka to finish the last third of it. Simply. Fucking. Horrid.

My most hated game of all time. Invisible War was kind enough to be so shitty it was like warning coloration, except instead of having a stinger you knew it was just a waste of time. The first 30% of Blandkind Divided is the most amazing thing you will ever play, then it rapidly starts turning to shit the moment you have to recover that data disc from the bomb site. I was amazed it managed to surpass Mass Effect 3 for a short time, but I figured it couldn't keep that level of quality up forever as I was playing it. It ended up getting so much worse than I ever could have imagined.

Today's industry is so terrible I'm convinced we're finding new ways to suck.

It was the most baffling disappointment of 2016. I loved Human Revolution, but Mankind Divided was garbage. It lost so much of what the past games memorable: globe trotting; the fun, goofy conspiracy theories; the reactivity. Instead we get Square-Enix fuckery (a butchered game) and AUG Lives Matter!:rolleyes::lol:

Kudos on you for saying that ME3 ending became magical after that DLC fix. I would say it was good at best, but overal it was shitty, compared to the main plot at least, I enjoyed it way more. Don't even remember any ending moments except helmetless Quarians pic while I still remember many moments of the plot itself. Didn't play Citadel DLC though, I was tired playing the game at the time when it was released, finished the game many times because of singleplayer DLCs and because of save importing feature, so I have no idea if it improved the ending.

Mind you, I was pretty big fan of ME too at that time and I was pretty much careless about the plot being dark/sad, neither did I hate the fact that they butchered RPG elements, I was glad they turned the series into third person shooter, the game as RPG was quite meh from the start, plus when I want to play space cRPGs I come into KOTOR 2. In fact, the first game is my least liked ME because of shitty combat mechanics and especially because of boring as shit side quests (should've mentioned this part in my post above, by the way). Oh, and I wouldn't say ME3 has no libtard crap, Bioware loved to force faggotry since DA2, seriously, how could your forget STEEEEVE!!!11:

I kind of liked ME2 plot the most, maybe because you wasn't a chosen one in it except that part when you was resurrected (though the ending cutscene was quite meh in ME2 too, actually, don't remember it either except a conversation with Illusive Man) and I don't recall there was some obvious forced faggotry there, the game felt like average space journey of some space captain which I really enjoyed despite some flaws, really loved the atmosphere of the game (Illium was my favorite part, especially with Shadow Broker DLC). However, gameplay-wise, ME3 is my favorite ME game for sure, I'd put it next to ME2 or maybe above because of gameplay, I don't regret buying main game because of multiplayer.

I'm looking forward to Andromeda as well. I like exploration based games. Still like a demo to try out though.

I won't talk about the trilogy too much, because it brings up too much controversy and rage, especially the ending.

I enjoyed it from start to finish though.

They shut down and nuked the BSN forums because there was so much controversy being stirred up and still is. Least, until they got nuked, now people can't say anything because there's no forums there anymore.

As for people quitting Bioware, not everyone who works there is a permanent employee. They work contract, so once their work is done, they quit and find something else. Due to the sheer size of the development team (over 200+ people working on it) compared to the previous games which had maybe 50 at the most, I'm not surprised that a lot of those were temps and contract workers from other companies.

Squeenix recently put Deus Ex on hiatus. Good. Blandkind Divided was flat out blue pilled, on top of being complete and utter broken shit. I have never managed to finish a game that prided itself on being an overly involved, slowly paced, fucking waste of time and I won't be able to again. If Mass Effect: Andromeda has that pacing problem I am fucking done. That game is going to be at least 4x longer than Blandkind Divided and I don't feel like getting a fucking liver transplant. I have never, ever needed alcohol to finish a game before. I just turn the piece of shit off and go outside or something. But this was a Deus Ex game AND I HATE TO FINISH IT.

If you didn't read every part of the lore, remember as many details as possible, and become emotionally involved with the characters as much as you could, you won't care for it. The final scene with Liara seriously fucked me up when I first played through the game.

Come on, you know that a voice sample wasn't my point but rather the character himself and how there is only one way to safe him, not to mention that his faggotry story does add absolutely nothing to the plot, replace husband with wife and that will change nothing. Didn't mention feminzai crap since Mordin made me ignore it. What I was saying anyway is that the game still has that Bioware faggotry pandering, unfortunately even more than previous games. To add, at that time I wasn't really familiar with Western culture when I played the game for the first time.

Yeah, but missions where you need to get the crew itself were pretty good, even some loyalty missions actually (don't tell me you hated Zaeed's or Mordin's missions, Legion wasn't bad either).

Also, Omega kicks the shit out of Illium. But Illium's /pol/ inspired Jewish radio announcer is just fucking God tier. Illium is such a libertarian shithole.

That's what I liked about it, I wonder even if they Bioware wanted to mock them that way (I mean they didn't even try to hide how rotten this place was inside). Though if there was more Omega content I'd like it more too. Shadow Broker DLC just added greatly to Illium for me.

They replaced Malik because she can die, but there's some Easter egg showing she is alive in Blandkind Divided, which just got to show how piss retarded Eidos Montreal is since their founder left.

Yeah yeah, "most players couldn't save her so we thought it would be wisest idea to replace her with absolutely shitty character from even more shitty game Deus Ex The Fail". This was quite ironic considering they decided to make every ending canon, it was very bad and pathetic excuse to replace her. I can't even remember the name of the pilot in MD. However, that was expected from Square Enix, I think there is no more disgusting company in Japan than Square Enix. Perhaps only Sony can compete with them.

Finally, a decent trailer showing off the improved gunplay and combat abilities. I love the look of the jetpacks!

I like the ability to use enemies as a personal shield.

Sexy alien with man's face. I'd shoot myself too.
