Hello,
I just download the EDuke32 Addon Compilation v3.1 from http://hrp.duke4.net/download.php.
I put the addons folder in the eduke32 folder and launch eduke32 with this command:
./eduke32 -jaddons
but this doesn't work.
Please help

I supplied a batch file with the compilation, addons.bat. Have you tried using that?
[Btw this doesn't belong into this section, but into "Bug reports & help me threads".]

I'm using Linux, so I can not launch the bat file.
But it's not very important, I read the bat file, it launches Eduke32 with an option.
So, in a terminal, if I write
./eduke32 -jaddons
it should work.

Maybe the GTK startupwindow has not been equipped with the grpinfo feature. You may need to examine the addons.grpinfo feature and manually specify -g, -x, and -h on the command line.

Finally it works but I have to specify the entire pathname:
./eduke32 -j '/home/legluondunet/Applications_persos/Jeux/Duke Nukem 3D/EDuke32/eduke3216102016/eduke32/addons'
Eduke32 does not "automagically" search in his folder (where is located his executable) or in the .duke32 (Eduke32 linux config folder located in /home/username) for an addons folder.
Is it a bug?
Thanks for your reply.

For the record, the Playstation sounds addon from that page doesn't work for me.

NightFright, in the file "addons_readme.txt" file you can read:
2b) If you launch EDuke32 with a shortcut, add parameter "-jaddons" to the "Target" line
(e.g.: E:\Duke3D\eduke32.exe -jaddons).
Run eduke32.exe and you will see the new entries in the "Game" selection window.
There should be a space between "-j" and "addons", isn't it?

No need for a space there, I've always used -jaddons in my shortcuts for these.

No spaces after the dash ("-"). It would never work like that.

NF, just curious if you have any ideas on the PSX thing, or if that's a lost cause for me?

I don't think we should talk about other stuff than the problem at hand. But no, I have no idea.

I recommend keeping a space between "-j" and "addons", in case you need to use "" to contain whitespace in your path.
