Eduke32: change files game location

#1

Hello,

when I launch eduke32 it "automagically" find the path of my "Duke nukem 3D megaton" in my Steam library, the aim game and the addons too (vacation etc...)
Good, but how it does that?
If I manually change the location of this game, how to tell the path to Eduke32?

Thank you for your help.

Eduke32 check the files in your Steam installation. If you want to run the add-ons after uninstalling Megaton edition, I believe you have to copy the files from these directories to Eduke32 directory: "Duke Nukem 3D\gameroot\addons\dc\", "\gameroot\addons\nw\", "\gameroot\addons\vacation\".

I found a way:
I have to specify each folder like this:
./eduke32 -j 'FULL_PATH_TO/Duke Nukem 3D/gameroot' -j '/FULL_PATH_TO/Duke Nukem 3D/gameroot/addons/dc' -j '/FULL_PATH_TO/Duke Nukem 3D/gameroot/addons/nw' -j '/FULL_PATH_TO/Duke Nukem 3D/gameroot/addons/vacation'

Finally I asked for a new feature for Eduke32, I think it needs a better way to automagically find addons:

I hope dev will give interest to it
