It's not even attached to anything. It's just floating there (This was easy to miss, since I noticed it is one sided).
It's supposed to be here:

There are actually quite a few overlooked things in the maps. I found a cola machine with a texture not added to the side of it and more. I've actually been correcting these things for the past few days just for personal use, but I may release the maps with my fixes if anyone is interested. I'm not sure if they will ever correct these things themselves and update the game or not. If I do release a pack, I will include MetHy's Prima Arena fix if it's alright to do so. Credit will be given.

You can use it, or you can re-connect the areas yourself, it takes a couple of seconds.
I think you should also un-block blocking sprites that get in the way, such as beers or donuts on the floors, cracks or stepladders against walls that you can stand on, etc
Skies are particularly fucked in classic mode. Mostly some bits and pieces which are of a darker shade, but also alignement if you look straight up, the later I'm not sure it's fixable (depends how their skies are made)
I also think you should include a list of every single little thing you change.
I must have a hundred screenshots or more of little things like that (misaligned textures etc) but you've probably noticed all that yourself

I'm waiting for eduke32 to get multiplayer. Lots of people are waiting to make multiplayer-focused mods.

Debuted in ROTT, you could select RTS from the setup program. Made sense to have separate files since you could distribute yours quite easily then.
DUKE.RTS is just the stock one but nothing prevents you from exchanging that with ROTT one for example.

The funniest (or saddest?) thing is that Megaton was more active despite delayed multiplayer. According to SteamDB, 74 people are playing the game right now and I bet console versions aren't any different. Even niche fighting games with shitty online were more active than WT.
And speaking of multiplayer, who was lucky enough to try it? Was it any good? I wonder how good/bad it is compared to some fighting games considering WT also uses P2P connection.

I only seem to get a game through it by one guy who invites me to his matches. Sometimes it crashes for one of us and that usually causes the game to just end abruptly and kick us out back to the main menu. We've never managed to finish a whole episode because of it.

Alright, first of all, a sharp-eyed user on Steam that goes by the name of "Dr4Wm4N" pointed out to me that the filenames in the "sounds" folder aren't completely identical to the ones in "Legacy_DukeTalk_OGG".
Namely, it turns out that 5 of the taunts from DUKE.RTS contained in "Legacy_DukeTalk_OGG" have not been renamed to what they are now called in the parent folder, namely:
- BCNTRL01.ogg (New Name: BIRTHCONTROL.ogg)
- DIEFO002.ogg (New Name: GONNADIE.ogg)
- LUCKY02.ogg (New Name: SONOFABITCH.ogg)
- SCUM01.ogg (New Name: ALGAEEATER.ogg)
- WASTE003.ogg (New Name: WASTED.ogg)
Speaking of Duke taunts, anybody know if that "What are you? Some bottom-feeding, scum-sucking algae eater?" is from a movie or anything? Another one I'm curious if has been used before is "Life's a bitch, then YOU die" with emphasis on you, that's a pretty clever badass one-liner. Was this used somewhere before Duke used it?

The expression's been used by a rapper called "Nas" in a 1994 rap called "Life's a bitch" so it's surely been around longer than Duke.
In general it's more like a saying than your standard action hero one-liner.

True true, "life's a bitch, then you die" is a well used expression. The little extra something of saying it the Duke way "then YOU die" (while killing aliens bastards) is a fun twist on it. I wouldn't have been surprised if it was used in some action movie or B-movie at some point like that, but cool if original to Duke too.

Yes, Build engine...those bugs have been around forever and exist in EDuke32 as well. The only good solution to the pigcop one is for his script to be changed so that he won't go into his dive animation when on water.

I managed to have a couple of dukematches. They were 1v1s mind you, but there was no lag. It's kind of frustrating that there's no chat function when you're waiting in a lobby so that you could say to somebody 'let's wait for a few more people to join', because I had people join and then quit because I didn't start the game with just the two of us.

Compare to the original XBLA release and I was able to do 8 player sessions easily (which helped getting all the achievements) for the first month or so, and yeah, this release suffers from over exposure.
Also I was able to chat with Broussard when it came out on XBLA and I know I saw him Dukematching it that first day.

Wow, I didn't know he was so shitty that you can bug him out of his attack.
Not that you need to, anyway.
The mini Cycloid Emperors and mini Overlords in the level seem to kill themselves, so you don't even need to waste Devastator ammo until the boss fight.

I certainly hope so... I'd really hate for the game to be left in this state. I mean, Randy did say this a few days ago, so I hope it means something's happening with it.
