[Release] Hogwash Overboard Edition

#1

Originaly I just wanted to fix some bugs but went a bit overboard.

Hence Hogwash Overboard Edition was born

Now with slightly reduced lag for a better framerate + a crapton more changes and fixes to the original.

+New Music. [ Try not to drown out the ambience with it :P ]

+Recons ( or flying pigs ) added.

+Expanded some Areas.

+Improved looks, rebalenced combat & added features.

+All bugs fixed.

:Most everything has a function.

* Hand dryers in the bathrooms (gives pipe bombs)
* Rotisserie oven (gives atomic health)
* Coke machine (gives cola or small health)
* Dish washer (gives armor)
* Microwave (gives grow ammo)
* Fire alarms (gives crystal ammo) :Note I often miss these myself
* Ladder provides shortcut off Submarine
* Lockers have lots of usefull stuff inside
* Vents sometimes have goodies
* Tampon dispencers (gives 6 pack or large health)

:) --->Hogwash Download Link<--- :D

Hogwash [re-release] is up for testing, I'm pretty sure I got all the bugs out but can't be sure.
Let me know if there's any changes I should make :P or find any mistakes.
You could do the HRPlayers a 'favor' and change the tiles below which currently reveal a secret when using the HRP:

Sorry I cant fix that one issue. [ I took another look at it in build and can't even access that area in 2D, I tried reaching the doortile texture but can't even find some parts of the door front since they are lowered way down on an ultra thin sector ]

It also sits in a sector over sector to top it off. and its a doortile texture so can't change it or it won't work.

Otherwise I would happily oblige your request, but you picked one I unfortunately can't do/undo.

1. I'm not familiar with HRP.
The HRP isn't good at alternate palette colouring.

Yeah, my request actually meant to replace #1169 with #1100 or some other surface which is greenish by default. Since I'm no mapper I wasn't aware of hardcoded behaviour being in the way.

Question: Is there a way to post smaller image boxes so it makes the post not so bloated?
You could put the image section into spoiler tags:

Or try /imgur. They offer a small size image representation for forum usage.
Or post the images as attachments, but don't forget converting to JPG before. After "Attach This FIle", click on "Add To Post" to insert image at a certain position.

Thanks I just cut down on the number of shots.

Also is there any way to remove the beta link?
When editing your post, click on "Use Full Editor".

[EDIT:] Download doesn't work for me. Never heard of that hoster. I'd recommend MediaFire.

I tried it, but I play in original polymer from 1996. All the mirrors have a endless tracer effect. One point near the end I had to reboot my comp.

Try running it using Eduke32 64bit 5811 <--link. Its been tested thoroughly using Eduke32 64bit 5811 and other than some lag due to its design, it runs without issue.

( unless you have a 32 bit system then just get the current from here EDuke Current )

:It wont run under Megaton Edition as well ( it's all in the readme ), I pushed past the limits of the old game engine by leaps and bounds.

:Not tested under polymost use polymer its better anywho :P

My file is now hosted at CGS - Scent88 Hogwash

Other than the FPS issues, this is a great map. I liked the kitchen area in particular, good gameplay there.
