And Manhattan Project is now gone as well. Thanks, guys! I still have these other non-3DR games as well if anyone's interested.

I've got a question for you guys old enough to remember. Back in the 90's and early 2000's the used games shops around town avoided the PC market totally. I asked one store clerk why and he said "I don't know, its always been the policy". I'm wondering if that has been the case around the country or if it was a local market thing. As a consequence me and my brothers have shelves full of old games gathering dust for years. Many times I thought about trying to sell some but for the lousy 3-5 dollar asking price its not really worth the effort of listing and shipping. So here they sit. Most are boxed so at least they look impressive on the shelves. :)

I've been looking for one of these, and eBay has completely failed me. Thanks for posting here, I bought it.

Glad that I sold the PC/MSDOS Powerslave/Exhumed in complete and in great condition to you Evan. I even slapped insurance on the package and made it Priority Mail. Should be arriving at your doorstep in a couple of days. Enjoy!

So what are you gonna do with it Hendricks? Reverse Engineering, making it work w/ eduke32, or what?

Anyways folks, check out my eBay page and you'll find some stuff that I'm selling.

If anyone wants Jet Force Gemini in new and sealed condition. I'm listing it on Amazon for $76: https://www.amazon.c...8&condition=new

Those things are on my roadmap but I already "have" the game as far as that goes. This disc will complete my collection of jewel case copies of all the US releases of BUILD games that have CD audio, so that I can rip them with ExactAudioCopy at 100% accuracy standards as judged by the enthusiast metric used by What.CD (RIP). I think I actually have all the US BUILD games (even without CD audio) except for one or both of Napalm and WWII GI but those are super cheap and I might as well go for it. I also technically lack versions of Blood besides 1.0, but I don't believe the CD audio changed any.

In England there were quite a few second hand game shops, and they did PC games. There was an excellent one in Burton upon Trent in the late 90's, early 2k's. Lots of big-box titles.

In the States, there was a game-stop that sold second hand titles in the Orlando area around 2004 or so. I picked up a copy of Unreal GotY edition from there. Just the disks with slip-cases, but a good source for titles anyway.
Wherever I've been, Goodwill and other 'charity' shops are a great source for old games and older PC kit (for those wanting to create your own Golden Age LAN party).

Back in England again, around 3 or so years ago, the local CEX (second hand electronics store) sold PC games, but they all got pulled from shelves around that time. No explanation given.

As to sales in your area, it could be a piracy thing (easy to copy disks and then return the package for a refund). The second option is that the staff may not be very knowledgeable. A lot of newbs were discovering PC gaming and the interwebz. Troubleshooting config.sys and soundblaster lines for complete know-nothings is not fun. I've done it. Either option could be why they didn't sell PC games. Option three is that they were console fanbois. :)

I'm not talking about refunds for new software after making a copy. Strictly the used game stores. There were so many of them and it seemed odd that not a single one I found would deal with PC games. New games were selling great at the big box electronics stores and the smaller independent computer stores. Maybe they put up a stink and got a local ordinance passed against used sales since it would hurt their bottom line. It wouldn't be the first time that a company had a politician in their pocket.
