Good interview there. Funny to hear him throw Big the Cat under the bus.

No! Just no.. no reboots, no bs.. just gives a proper f*cking duke game.
I know how these modern reboots work and they happen to suck everytime. Why is it so hard to just understand that its fine to start with fully "upgraded"? At this point this kinda approach would even be pretty much breath of fresh air because every game has utilized this "upgrade" system by now.. I don't find it enjoyable at all that I need to start from crap and work my way up. I play games to have fun and the formula Wolf3d introduced works like a charm. Weapons work as upgrades and via secrets you get the rocket launchers and other power weapons. No interruptions are needed.
edit: And it's either not an interesting idea to see some baby duke nukem. What the hell? Just gives us the hero that we all love.
edit:2 As always, jon st. john made the interview golden

I wouldn't mind a 'reboot' of Duke; Dr. Proton was the only real named villain and he was killed in the DNF DLC, so it's not like there's any story remaining to continue from.
I'd like it in the style of Fury Road; same character, same overall setting and theme, just stand alone.
Also, coop. With multiple Dukes. With no over complicated explanation as to why there's more than one Duke (although quips from NPCs would be nice wink wink)

"Don't worry girls, there's plenty of Duke to go 'round"
