I know that the last version of eduke32 [1] has a problem with the multiplayer networking.
However, an old version of eduke32 [2] is available to be able to use the multiplayer networking.
The problem is that it seems that with [1] and [2], it is not possible to run eduke32 as a dedicated server.
I mean, a dedicated server is a console program that does not provide a Graphical User Interface (GUI) and does not prompt the user.
Here, these versions of eduke32 are running a GUI and ask the user to select the episode.
If you want some examples of real dedicated servers, there are chocolate-doom or ioquake3.
To run a chocolate-doom dedicated server I do:
$ chocolate-server -servername "YuGiOhJCJ's server"
To run an ioquake3 dedicated server I do:
$ ioq3ded.x86 +exec yugiohjcj.config
Is there a way to run a real dedicated server of eduke32?
Thank you.
Best regards.
