software to extract Duke Nukem 3D sprites?

This is probably an incredibly stupid question to ask here, but here goes: I'm wondering what programs are there for extracting monster and item sprites (and preferably textures too) from the Duke Nukem 3D game files. I found another website with some pre-extracted graphics, but it does not contain sprites for everything, and the uploader doesn't say what program he used. I'm sure there is a program that does this, but my Google searches have turned up fruitless results so far.

Thanks!

A while ago I used bastART, which I guess I got here. However I suppose the seasoned Duke3D experts here will give you better advice on this.

Its mostly personal preference, but I still prefer EditArt. Here is the latest version, which works with DOS and most Windows XP machines. If it doesnt work on your XP machine or you have a newer operating system, heres an emulated version using DOSBox.
