polymer automap bug

Since about mid-February, EDuke32's automap has not functioned right in Polymer mode. All I see on the automap screen is Duke himself against a black background - no level map. Any reason why this bug is still out there?

I've noticed this too.

Go here.
Read this.
Post your log file.
Make sure you have no loose ART, CON, DEF files lying around.

Please don't cut your log before it gets interesting. Run EDuke32, maybe start a map, shut down the game, then upload the resulting eduke32.log.

When it comes to bug hunting, running a mod like DukePlus is pretty far from normal use. Retry without DukePlus. Upload the resulting log, too.

I have no idea why the log file was cut off like that - It's whole and entire on my hard drive. Anyway, here's a log from a short session without DukePlus. (BTW, playing the level for a while isn't going to help in figuring this bug out much, since it affects the automap (I do not see the level map at all in polymer, just Duke against a black background, as in the attached screenshot)

"DP 211"?

That said, I believe we know about this bug, and it's a to-do item for HTTKC since the original (now broken) code never worked with GL ES anyway.
