Well, they did one thing right, it's not multiplayer only.
Descent: Underground. "Over 15 years later a sequel to the Descent franchise."

Make a new thread for that shit. don't lump it in this thread for a bad game!
Legit though, they have actually got this shit right, and it's really impressive how it really looks and feels like Descent with a modern presentation. that's alot more than can ever be said for Underground or any of the fan projects.

I swear somehow you can just tell when a descent-style game has done the feel of movement/combat properly. I watch that trailer and I want to fund it, while watching the trailers for descent underground and gameplay it just felt awkward as fuck.
Shame those guys snagged the name though, I can't help but feel like some people won't fund this because it doesn't have the title associated with it.
The cube-cased level editor looks amazing. I really hope even if they don't make a competitive multiplayer, they add some sort of cooperative mode to the game, it almost wouldn't feel right without it.

A true Descent 3?
I'd pay for this the price Fallout 4 costs here. Fantastic!

The lead designer of Overload (from Radian Games) has put a lot of his apps on sale (and some free on iOS) to promote Overload: http://www.radiangam...roid-sale-ever/

Yeah it really doesn't look like Overload's getting funded.
I wonder if that will mean the project won't get released though? It looks like they're pretty far in development already.

I decided to fork non-Underground discussion, including that of Overload, into a separate thread, as was suggested here earlier.
