Very nice videos especially the speed mapping ones and you even built some decent areas while doing so and that sprite bridge is wonderful.

Even though I thought speed mapping meant mapping in real time quickly... It was cool nonetheless, nice bridge

Was just looking at ur mapping vid 'n saw you're able to see the SE emit light while in build. How are you able to do that? I set rendermode to 4 and still it doesn't do anything. Loaded to a vanilla map that I know already has it in game and it doesn't show there either. What do I have to do to make this work?

Press ' + ALT. Could be a different key depending on your locale setting.

Oh the second key was X, close enough to ALT

I don't see the lighting in mapster. I set rendermode to 4 and pressed X+'. Still nothing.

IIRC Chicken over in Germany had this problem. It ended up being a different keypress for him. Hopefully he sees this thread and says what it is.
EDIT: I found the old post and on his German layout keyboard the keypresses are ä and x instead of ' and x

You can compare the US keyboard layout with the one you are using here:

I press ( ' + X ) and all it did was shade the things I was to lazy to shade to the parent sector. No SE lighting.
