More than a decade ago I came across a RR CON FAQ that was incomplete. I remember it being in one of the archives for RR that I have on RTCM, but I can't seem to relocate it.
Apparently I forgot to indicate that it was in that particular archive, I normally don't forget things like that... Could be in a map archive or makemap archive or add-on archive.

Has anyone come across which archive its in?

If you scroll part way down the page there is an RR FAQ. I don't know if its what you were looking for or not. I had this as a bookmarked page and thought I would post it.

You mean from the one from Bishop? That's a Duke3D CON FAQ.

The CON FAQ I'm looking for is "Hidden" in an archive. and it is not by Bishop.

I thought he did good reading. You asked specifically for an old redneck makemap archive with a con faq and got exactly that.

Honorable coming to defend. Maybe I'm sounding more harsh than what I intend.

I did say it was on RTCM already and was in anyone of the 3 types of archives, so I didn't get exactly that, I got a Duke3D CON FAQ.

I looked through the makemap archives, con files, and working on the map archives to see if their in there.

Is there a small program to search within zip archives and text files within the archive?

I can search for a text string that would only be in such a text file of this type.


Edit: nevermind I used such a program and the results indicate there is no such file on the site nor on very old backups.

so who ever may be looking, it may be in a grp file, but I'm calling off the search. Thanks.
