Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Movie.  "Produced by Michael Bay."

#1

So what do you think a/b it? The turtle designs are "Shrek-like" IMO. I wonder why Michael Bay is getting all the bashing? Is it his movies has stuff that's not scientifically accurate? Is Michael Bay like the 'John Romero' of Hollywood or something?

Gosh what a pile of fucking shit. I'm not sure I can take a RoboCop remake and a Ninja Turtles remake in the same year.

Eh... I don't know about this movie. The nostalgia part of me say this looks awful. When I try to look at it as it's own thing, it's just plain weird.

Now, I'm not one to criticize new design of the turtles because it doesn't look EXACTLY like the original, but why the human noses and lips? It looks creepy. And Megan Fox as April....? The director Johnathan Liebsmann hasn't made any decent movies either.

I also recently read Johnny Knoxville is voicing Leo. It's a bizarre casting choice at best.

Sadly enough, this movie will probably do well at the box office because of the fan base and the kids that think "Transformers movies is the greatest thing eva"

What the hell? Knoxville is totally more suited to Michelangelo.

I'm calling it, none of the Turtles will have any personality.

I want to be fair and give this thing a shot, the trailer looks alright, but I really didn't like the Transformers movies and I'm worried the same thing will happen here. Why'd they change the Turtle's backstory? Sure their origins are ridiculous, but the whole thing is ridiculous. Six-toot tall anthropomorphic turtles trained in ninjustsu fighting a clan of evil ninjas in New York. Since they're lab experiments now I guess that means Splinter won't be in this :)

I think I'm just going to wait for this to come out on Redbox or Netflix or something.

Also Megan Fox as April O'neil hahahaha

Fans of the original comics or anyone that grew up during the 80's most likely. The comics and the original cartoon were actually good though.

I wonder what Michael Bay's budget is on this for explosions? And, how are you going to make ninja fights have explosions anyways? Exploding shuriken? Exploding pizza? What?

While I watched cartoon and played video games, I'm not interested really.

Well, neither am I, but I'm just speculating the potential audience. And of course you need to add kids of the people who grew up with TMNT during the 80's.

Kathy: I don't care, so why should anyone else?™

I think you stole your attitude from Mikko Sandt.

Nein.

I'd be up for a Mask feature film, even though this doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Michael Bay is such a fucking loser.
This sums it up:

And um, yeah, the fans know what's up. Top is what they should look like. They're turtles, they don't need complex facial animations...do they?

Bay's version looks like Skeletor 69'd Maria Shriver.
