California State Senator Leland Yee; who authored legislation to restrict violent games to minors (which SCOTUS struck down in 2011) is arrested for corruption, bribery, and illegal firearms trafficking. Well another anti-video game politician bites the dust!

now awaiting public statement claiming he learned these habits from playing grand theft auto

The firearms trafficking charge made me suspect that he's a Republican, but I was relieved to find out that he's a Democrat when reading the article. Not many Republicans left in California these days.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, considering that Republicans in California are completely fucking insane. Well, so are the Dems.
Your states government is bad and you should feel bad. And then it all leeches out into our congress. Darrel Issa? Diane Feinstein? How much meth is leaking out of Tulare County these days?!

He was one of the 'gun grabber' politicans, too. Unlike the others, he had some knowledge of firearms but used the generic anti-gun rhetoric (assault rifles are scary!) in public. You wanna really know why he was 'anti-gun'? He wanted to make more profit off of firearms trafficking! Thanks for voting these kinds of people into congress, California! The rest of the United States totally doesn't hate you!

Had to bump this old thread but Leland Yee has plead guilty to racketeering and admits he's involved in gun running.

He should realize games are just games.
Violent games are restricted to 13+ or something, we do not need anymore restrictions.
Real life violence is the cause of people becoming violent.
i.e animal cruelty, child abuse, bullying etc.
Games are just pixels and nothing alive get harmed.
Yes people like in movies can learn bad languages.
is nothing compare to physical violence.
Video games has benefits for doctors.
Makes them "better" at their jobs.
Surgeons that play video games have better results

He has a lot more to worry about now than video games.

Doctors during their break time or when no emergency they may play video games, relax etc.
When someone comes in hospital they instantly stop and rush to the patient.

I can't stand Ctrl+Alt+Del, regardless of the comic subject matter.
