Is there anyone with time on there hands tell me if you use BSETUP.EXE from duke1.3d to provide a new SETUP.DAT for Legends of the seven paladins game if you can achieve a higher default resolution?

The theory is they used/kept Ken S. original setup structure in SETUP.DAT for the game, but modified his BSETUP.EXE for their own needs. But I'm thinking that Kens original BSETUP.EXE will work to some extent to get higher res.

If no one here has time maybe I will eventually, but if you have time can you check it out? Thanks.

I could be wrong, but I think that game was based on an interim engine version that supported no such higher resolutions.

You could be right, I had a few moments of time and tried BSETUP.EXE and even tho the game excepted the setup.dat it didn't raise resolution. Interesting tho. Thanks for chiming in.


I don't think it will except control changes but I'm not sure of that either.
