Holy pixels Batman. I'll point out more constructive criticism a little later but I'm busy atm. IMO this isn't usable in its current state.

Hmmm why does he have two left legs, one of which is mirrored and pasted on? :/ The shadow behind Duke on the wallpaper image is a little blocky.

It's because the image is taken from the Duke 3D score screen, where one of Duke's legs is up on a barrel.

Some clever pixel editing, but not usable as a wallpaper certainly. If you could upscale it that would be something different. Unless you're goal was to capture the pixels. I have a high tolerance for pixel art but I still can't bring myself to use it as desktop wallpaper for my 1080p monitor. It's just one of those things that doesn't work. I've tried.
