I know it's made outta dog meat and all.. but I'd still wanna just take a bite just to see what it tastes like. Also mmm.. that Duke Sauce

Well, just go to Korea to get real dog meat dishes, as for the sauce, no clue, you can get suicide dishes all over the place - I'd rather get a taste of the chicks though

I think the Duke Burgers were originally meant to be something other than Dog. Duke seems to show quite a bit of aggravation, saying "Nobody messes with *my* meat!" upon discovering this.
And of course, "No way I'm eating this shit!"
And of course, "No way I'm eating this shit!"

But what's the "normal" meaning? What meat within the Dukeburger context is he referring to?

They changed the meat from, I assume, pork to dog. Pigcops weren't cannibals.

I always assumed that it was a joke implicating that the aliens had taken over the Duke Burger and bastardized it to meet their nefarious alien designs, hence why Troopers are set up as cashiers and fry cooks and such. Thus, Duke Burger was only using dog meat because of the aliens' doings, but Duke wouldn't be caught dead eating at an establishment of his namesake regardless.

I think the only explanation for why Duke said that line was because he's psychotic and just blurts out whatever comes to mind in his stream-of-consciousness.

If they did, it would be kinda funny since the Duke 64 version of the level censored dog meat into hooked pork.

Holy Crap! Now you can try Duke Burger a restaurant opened with the the themes and name of Duke Berger

Well at least I tried Didn't get much reactions from my April fools this year, the few I made here and there.
For myself I wouldn't mind to try a Burger from Duke Burger as long as it's somewhat decent. Nothing like Heart Attack Burger.
