Best way to buy physical media of Shadow Warrior/Blood/RR
#1 Posted 22 October 2013 - 02:25 AM
Greetings all!
I've been a Duke fan for years and have watched these forums ever since I can remember. Now I have finally joined!
So recently I discovered Shadow Warrior, Blood & Redneck Rampage (yes I know, bit late...) and I am finding it impossible trying to get them on physical media in the UK.
(I have Duke 3D Atomic on physical media I'm not that much of a peasant!)
I have them all on GoG, but it isn't the same as having a genuine, old school cd case.
Maybe someone here can point me in the right direction? I know 3D Realms sells Shadow Warrior, but they do not ship physical copies anymore.
As for Redneck Rampage & Blood....I've no idea where to start on how to get these.
Hopefully some of you guys can help!

I dont mind not having the big boxes, just want the original media!
eBay UK doesnt seem to have Blood. Has SW and RR though.

Don't forget to be wary of the "darts" version of SW that the UK got stuck with, unless you're collecting that AND the uncut Wang.

Yeah, for a long time "ninja" related things were banned in the UK. You might remember that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show was called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles.
And like other people have said, your only bet is at second hand places like thrift stores, specialty game shops, some online retailers, and places like eBay. Please don't buy big-box versions and then throw the box away. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY DO THIS SHIT. I will fucking wade across the Atlantic and dismember you with my own hands.

^Yeah, I remember I had an audio cassette/read along book of TMNT and wondering why they said 'hero' instead of 'ninja', and it wasn't until I got older that I discovered why. Damn censorship!
