separate cache directory in eduke32

It would be nice if all cache files can be stored in a separate directory in eduke32. Currently, it looks like the files textures, textures.cache, and grpfiles.cache are saved in the same directory as game save and configuration files.

I test-hacked the source to save them in a subdirectory 'cache' and it seems to work, but it was a fast hack.

Any plan to introduce separate cache directory in eduke32? I have a separate temp directory for all cache files so I don't have to back them up when backing up my home directory.

you can do that with commands

eduke32 -game_dir cache_folder -jMYGAME_folder -gMYGAME.GRP

The .GRP that I want to load is inside the directory: "MYGAME_folder"
The config, save and cache files will be stored inside the directory: "cache_folder"

If you want to check the command line options run:
eduke32 -help
and
eduke32 -debughelp
