Status report

Do you guys want some duke 3d levels in here that I made? I was tryng to make a whole episode, but it kinda stoped when my pc busted, Thank god I'm editing the DVD on a mac!

REAL status report

I just added the new news on dnf "the duke and I" in the DVD.

And I'll have to push back the release date again. The latest is April 30th,
or as always WID B)
Whats in it:
-both e3 trailers
-the old DNF joke(not in yet but wil be)
-3 secret file(the other being the discountinued episode, if you guys want it in, I have no problem adding it.)
-cool animated menus

sorry guys but work will have to slow down alot for me B) due to the fact that I fell down 32 stairs at work on tuesday. I'm sore all over.

I fractured my nose when I fell, and I have some minor lacerations on my face as well as bruises o my arms and legs, and a pretty messed up lip.I basically look like a raw hamburger right now. Sorry guys B)

status report:
-I can't guarentee that the april fools vid will be in there but I'll try my best to convert it from avi.
-as I seid earlier, work will have to slow down for me...

..::STATUS REPORT::..

- have any of you guys heard of DTTP? well it's a new episode that me an abunch of other guys back at 3dr's froums and as a secret file I will include my map in there.
- All the secret files are in!
- I still need to convert the DNF april fools video to a different format
- The song from the 2001 e3 vid is in too (as a bonus and for the main menu)
- And as usuale if any of you have anything you would like me to to add, just email it to me or tll me where to find it
(DNF fan art, old news,etc.)

I will try to post more often here, but my home is at the 3drealms forum.

I have a feeling that the project is drawing to a close:) though I will not post any release dates
This is extremely good news it shows that I'm not slackin', And I have made a well recovery from my fall!
And I'm sure the biggest fan of the project(X3NOMORPH) will be very interested in this update.
Anyway down to bizznizz:
- I reacently added a file that will make some think "Aww hell yes a bootleg" and then think" Aww dammit I was so excited" though I won't tell you what it is.
- But allas I have some sad news, I was not able to get the april fools video into the DVD...
- LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING IT SOON ON MY SITE!!! I don't know how soon though.

anyway another
update on the project:

-I'm finished that file I was makeing I just need to compress it, and put it in!
-I have officialy quit on the DNF 2003 april fools vid. I just doesn't play, evan when I convert it to a ".mov" file! If any of you have the vid in a differant format then avi, send it to me!(mikeybackatya@hotmail.com)
-I will have to re-enter all the secret files.
-I have stopped using iDVD, and am now using DVD studio pro!
-I am makeing amazing progess!
-I also tested it on my tv, and I must say "IT IS THE SHIT!!!" it looks so awsome on a tv! B)

I want a fancy looking menu with animations and stuff... :) B)

Perhaps i'm expecting too much... Anyways, i'm still wondering what those "secret" files might be... And how much they are related to DNF...

Your in luck the main menu has a cool animation, its the begining of the 2001 e3 video!
Also keep woundering! I'll try to post here more often too B) my goal is to be an assult trooper instead of a shark B)

Perhaps you could add random Duke quotes whenever some option is chosen... (Like everytime you access a new sub menu, or something)

Just a thought... :)

If you have the original Duke3D CD, they should all be located in there...
Although all files a VOC files, and not Wave/MP3's as you'd probably want them...

Can you convert VOC to MP3..? If so, no problem... And if you don't have the sound files, i'll send them to you by email... B) (Although, i only have quotes from the original Duke3D version, and not all the quotes, that followed with the Atomic edition, which had a few more oneliners... B))

So, you got the files..? They are in the second mail i sent (called "Duke sounds WITH files")

Hope you manage(ed) to convert them to MP3... :)
