You're in my house you're in my face
You made me hate the human race
Now that is how a love song should start.

To reveal my inner nerd in only my second post...
I'm listening to the First Season of the Eighth Doctor Adventures, a Doctor Who Radio Drama series.
Normally it'd be E.S. Posthumus or Two Steps From Hell.

Sorta has a sort of Floyd-ish vibe to it, only a little less melancholy. Honestly, it astounds me how seamlessly these guys can move from one sound to another between songs, and they pretty much nail it every time.

Ha, instantly recognised Black Francis' pose from that YT still.
Saw the Pixies live in '89 (Pinkpop festival, Landgraaf) and '90 (Paradiso, Amsterdam), good times.
I recall an audio interview with them on Dutch radio station VPRO, taken just after their gig at Pinkpop; pretty amusing to hear their reactions to going from quirky little garage band in the US to standing in front of a festival crowd of 40.000 in the Netherlands.
Anyway, just played a band from the nineties that never made it to that kind of popularity:

Leave it to the Dutch to use the title "Friendship" for a song brimming with depressing cynicism.
Love it.
