I wonder how was that? Was it better or worse than under 98SE?

^ Yep. The hooded gangsta pasting smart pictures not of his own has returned! Can't you come up with something by yourself?

Anyway I think about dual-boot. I can handle Dosboxed Redneck and stuff, but I can't imagine running Dosboxed Sin or Heretic II.

I think SiN and Heretic II will both run natively on modern versions of Windows.

Why try to play games in Windows ME? An act of masochism?

The latter two aren't DOS games - or did you mean to say that you'd install Win98 under DOSBox? You can do that of course (but that might result in performance degradation on lower system specs), but you'd better be off with a dual-boot I guess.

Windows ME? How has your machine not died yet?

If you have an older machine but lack the funds to get an upgrade, you should just switch to Debian with Xfce (Linux).

Nah. I don't have SO old machine. But it is P4 2,4GHz, GF 7300GT and 1,8 GHz RAM. So it is bad. Redneck in anything lower than 800x600 sucks. And yes I have been thinking of playing Heretic II on Dosboxed Win98, but I guess it is mission impossible.

I could buy a new rig, but just for these few (well maybe more) golden oldies? PC gaming is giving me a headache after all.
