I singled out a few corrupt walls. They are beyond the level geometry, but still within the map file itself. Is there a way to remove them? I tried to draw sectors around them and then delete the sectors, but it didn't work.

With alt-gr select your entire level, without the corrupt walls. Then do crtl-c. Open a new map, your level should be entirely copied to the newboard without the corrupt walls if they are out of the level geometry. You can now save.

Be sure to double check the alignment of floor textures after doing this... You can save time by pressing backspace in 2D Mode.
