Ah, I was referring to the re-release of the original SW by Devolver Digital (NOT the "Classic" version you can currently get for free on Steam), just like they did with Megaton for Duke3D. I think they actually call it "Classic Redux" now, it seems. Its release should be quite imminent according to the latest dev tweets.

Steam pre-order has just been placed. You guys had me convinced with the first screenshots already. It's exactly what it should be: A product made by fans for fans. That's why you have my confidence, even more so because icons like Lee Jackson are supporting you. I wish you a lot of success with the launch, and I sincerely hope we haven't seen the last of you guys. Thanks in advance already for bringing back this little gem of a game which would have deserved a lot more attention when it was initially released back in 1995!

Just four weeks to go to refresh all our memories! ^^

I am surprised it's a low budget title. Would have actually paid more for it if needed. Well, if it makes more people buy it because of that, then I am cool with it.

More people will buy from a 'smaller' developer if the prices are lower, that way they don't feel so conned if they dislike the product. Personally I'd happily pay anything up to standard UK retail price for it (£30), but £15 for a great game and 4 free DOSBox games in a handy combined launcher as a pre-order incentive is a steal.

Well I had 17 bucks left on a visa debit/gift card and it was a toss up between this and Blood Dragon.

So, this better be damn good. I'm a Michael Biehn whore, and I passed him up for ROTT.

Given that ROTT is cheaper, has a campaign that's probably twice the length of Blood Dragon, AND has multiplayer (if that's your thing), ROTT is definitely a better deal. Although saying that I'd love to get Blood Dragon myself, and I will when it's on sale.
