Using latest version SWP - Version 4.3.2 - Revision 331.128 and this is the only way I can get the game to work but I have two weird bugs. Not necessarily game-breaking but certainly annoying and maybe someone can assist me and I've tried googling the problem and I emailed the creator of SWP (as the forum on his site is long dead) and didn't get a response.
First bug: I cannot load a save game. Ever. I can start a game fine, it will autosave and if I die I can pick up where I left off but I cannot load a save. It doesn't crash, it just doesn't load at all but I can still go through the menu.
Second bug: If I die by a missle launcher (either killing myself or a Red Ninja nails me) the game will crash back to desktop.

I'm running 4.3.2 SWP version and I do not have either of those bugs. I'm running under Vista.
Does your swplog file show any errors?

Tried that and the mouselook was really messed up to the point of being unplayable.
