At duke4.net there is a list of downloads for life is a beach and nuclear winter etc.

Could someone please give me detailed instructions on how to get these to run. (On vista no less) also, the starship troopers mod looks kinda cool.

Would I have to have had the original life is a beach?

And would I have to change anything bout my duke file?

Last time with the atomic edition didn't work out to well.

I believe you need the original Life's a beach expansion, since it requires the GRP file from it to run...

As for where to make it run, i think Dukonnector (or the newer verion, Dukenet) should be able to make it run via ports...

You'll simply need to configure the game first (finding the grp file's location, and tell which port to play with and stuff) and then the game should work... I once did it with a friend who had Nuclear Winter, it's basically the same thing...
