Batman: Arkham City

I was absolutely astonished when I first played this game. I had read the reviews and seen the trailers, but I never would've expected that this game is this awesome! I'm not a big fan of these action/adventure games, you know, and have always preferred shooters and driving games, but this has something that just takes you with it and keeps you occupied for hours and hours enjoying of the gorgeous graphics, great storyline and characters plus the amazing free-flow combat system that just kicks ass.

I used to watch the Batman Animated Series a lot, and it was great to hear the most memorable actors voicing the characters. Likewise, I was very happy with the character design and the dark theme in the game. Just mind-blowing how my mind was so blown after having played for just a few minutes!

What do you guys think of this game? I personally think it's the best game ever made this far.

This is one of the best game this year definitely together with Deus Ex. I sure hope the next one will be bigger then Arkham City. Best game i have played in many years.

I was actually a bit disappointed with it. I LOVED the first game. I had to have beaten it atleast 5 times.
I beat this the day I got it and didn't even have the intention to. Granted, I didn't do much of the side missions, but I felt it was really short and there was a lot of loose ends. And the story itself just kinda ended.
I'm not pissed I paid 60 bucks for it, and its one of my more favorable games of the year. But for me, it doesn't reach the level of what Arkham Asylum set.

It was a bit short for me too, and the side missions would get repetitive unless I switched between them and not tried to complete them on one go. I also tried out Asylum, and it really was kinda surprising how much they'd improved the combat system from that. But I liked the story better, definitely.

I was enjoying the game immensely until GFWL deleted my save game and ruined my progress. I don't feel like doing all that work again. Frickin' GFWL.
