I wanted to show you all my new model, but whenever I take a picture of it, it looks like this.
I get the same result with both polymer and polymost.

Happened that to me too. It's a resolution problem. What resolution are you using?. Try with a more common resolution (like 1024x768 or 1280x1024).

It would be cool if you could make such effects with con coding. hmm, nightvision goggles?

The image code blows up with unaligned widths. Don't take screenshots if you're running 1366x768 or at least expect them to look awesome like that.
