Can someone please tell me how to get darkplaces for Quake to work?

I can't get it to work, or the rygel-dp-texturepack-ultra high res pack. The readme that comes with Darkplaces is messed up, the file is hard to read and the words aren't formatted right.

first, thanks for reminding me on this killer source port! Posted Image

second, I formated the .txt. file into a pdf [attachment=3103:darkplaces.pdf]

third, very basic setup for Windows 7
1. Make a new folder, for now I call it QuakeOpenGL.
2. Make a new subfolder in it and name it id1.
3. All files from the Darkplaces zip file go into QuakeOpenGL.
4. All .pak files from your original Quake goes into the id1 folder, as well as the single large .pk3 file from the Hi-Res rar file.

The details, well, you need to read the pdf.

Thanks man I figured it out on my own through trial and error.
