You really ought to play the map. It's quite good, and it's all 8-bit so you will like it.
Also, when you get to the end, you will understand why your comment doesn't really solve the problem (although I know it's a joke).

Oh yes I already played it like a week ago, I liked it. I prefered to refrain to post something because I made a post and then scraped it. This post included good and bad lines but since I saw everybody was enjoying it, I was going to be the only critic. What I liked the most was the fact of seeing things from the TV world in our beloved 8bits engine, that´s a neat concept.

@Eddy: Why did you choose 42 as the number of the hotel room the player stays at? 42 is of course the answer that the supercomputer Deep Thought comes up with as the answer to the "ultimate" question in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, so every time I see that number in fiction I wonder if it is a reference to Hitchhiker's.

Just a random number, there is no reference to anything.
I wanted to take a number from the movie, but I couldn't find a shot where it shows up.

Random hmmm?
So Dan, do you think we can get the question if we dissect ZE's brain?

This map is pretty friggin' cool. I love Pink Floyd and The Wall, and I can see that we both have a similar connection to the album. If you haven't already, check out The Final Cut, in many ways it's a follow up to The Wall. It's my favorite Pink Floyd album, actually.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah, The Final Cut is great. Very underrated album.

Hello guys. I'm thinking about making a full length game out of this map, it's probably gonna be a short puzzle/quest adventure.
Just wondering, what kind of music shall I use to avoid the lawsuits? I guess I can't use tracks from the original album. So, there exist a free bootleg version of the album, with early demos and outtakes. Can I use these? Also, can I use an unnofficial tracks ripped from the movie The Wall?

Just go ahead and use the whole album. You aren't going to get a lawsuit over chopped up and compressed ogg files.

Even if that's the case, major sites like ModDB probably don't want to take any risks.

This does not answer the question. I would contact EMI, make a deal and go commercial!
I love your games and would be willing to pay for it. Maybe I am the only one, but maybe I am not.

The initial mod had enough copyrighted material already in it. If this mod already is on ModDB then I don't know what would change that.

It wasn't released anywhere outside Duke4 forums. Very few people know this thing exists.

I've plain and simple enjoyed all of your mods. Now I'll enjoy this one.

Added a preview page on Indie DB. Let's see what people have to say.

Hello everyone! Long time no see.
A little bit too late, but better late than ever. Some of you might remember an old project of mine, The Wall map for Duke Nukem 3D, based on an album and film by the band Pink Floyd.
Due to excessive use of copyrighted material in the original release, I decided to make a version that would be suitable for youtube videos and streaming. Almost all music is replaced with free midi versions. Also, a couple of bugs are fixed, but nothing groudbreaking. It's interesting how midi songs sound compared to the original tracks that I previously used, and it does fit a Duke 3D style better if you think about it.
