Is possible to play a custom map in the shareware version?

Don't Eduke run with the Shareware version? As long as the map only contains textures and objects of the Shareware version you should be fine

EDuke32 does, but it restricts playing user maps with the shareware version just like the original.

But there are times when you really want a friend to try out a user map, and they absolutely refuse to buy Duke Nukem 3D. Granted a lot of maps won't even work with v1.3 let alone the shareware version, but it'd at least be nice to have the option.
