I think that there should be an option to change Duke's facial features like in Oblivion when you make your own character...of course you shouldn't be able to change important things like the flattop, hair colour, etc...but the Facial stuff like nose, lips, etc should.

So what do you think? I think that would make everyone happy as everyone will be able to make duke looks just like they want. And it would be a plus on interactivity, right?

Definetely "no" to such an option. Especially that I fail to see what's "wrong" with Duke in the teaser. Anyone of the critics care to explain it to me?

I guess people don't understand that humans face is not a static object and may look very different depending on many factors. For instance keeping smoke from a cigar in a mouth.

Joe has stated that the weights part isnt in the game but its just a animation in the video thus dukes face does not look like what is shown in the vid

That's bullshit, it's all made with the in-game engine.

I think the face is fine, but they seriously need to fix that fucked up hair and the bald spots at his sides.

i gotta agree with that... The hair looks sprite-ish, i would have expected some kind of fur at least...
And his head does look too "thin" with the missing hair on the sides of his head... Just a very little is needed, then i'd be fully satisfied with the head... But the face itself looks just like i want it...

It's kinda strange tho...I dreamed about DNF a few months ago and indeed I imagined duke older, more badass looking and even smoking a cigar! and damn...it indeed happen in the teaser .

I dreamed about x1000 interactivity as well, for example to put your armor on, you have to open the velcro, put it on, close it, etc. Hopefully that wont happen ,it's just too much .

Yeah the hair in the front is easily the worst part on him. In the teaser the light hitting the back of his head seemed to react to the hair well. I wonder if maybe the longer hair might get tweaked a little so it looks ok.

Aside from the lack of a lot of varying colors in the hair, I think a lot of what makes him look a little odd is that his hair goes completely straight up, and as somebody mentioned he has no side hair.
