well im at a loss at what to think
I do agree that critics are bashing the game for no real reason
If this game had the technical and graphical power of a 2011 game(which lets be fair it doesnt) people would be praising the game or at least giving it a fairer score
Linear and scripted events:Black Ops anyone?(81 metacritic score from the "proffesional" reviews

However i can see alot of people backlashing to this

It proves nothing actually. Just some PR company reacted badly to the beating of a product they were promoting. And threatening to review 2K's early copy policy is really not what they would want to do. Hence they apologised immidiately.

Even though it's their job to protect the game...they are right. 2/10? 3/10? Suck my fucking dick with those bullshit scores. I don't agree with withholding review copies of future games though.
