Did they redesign Duke based off of feedback or something? I was worried when I saw the postage stamp one where he appeared to be looking elderly and had an artificially inflated muscle man torso like an action figure.

I was really happy to see in that screen shot that he is back to looking more slim and agile like he appeared in Duke3D.

Also I see no mention of DNF on the Gamespot news site yet. Did 3DR forget to mail the check?

A holiday teaser is pretty nice though. But a minute length seems a long time when you are waiting for something, but will go by quickly when you watch something.

Actually a funny thing I forgot to mention is that I randomly had decided to dig up and watch the old 2001 E3 video the other day. When I did that it was the first time in years that I'd watched it. Odd that I happened to do that only a matter of days before the next video would come out.

I'm curious if they would be at all willing to post a screen shot of Duke from the 2001 era so we could have a better side by side comparison of the difference over time.

I'm also curious to know why the new Duke looks so much different than the Duke from the previous screen shot, even though I think the new one looks way better.

The server isn't "melting", in fact it hasn't even gone down once. That message you see is from the forum software which prevents server going down at mass load times.

It doesn't mean it actually has gone down, this is just one measure in place to prevent it from going down and it's working.
