Yes , well they can't state that everyone in the FAC gets a demo on the 3rd, & then have aussies and other people waiting til sometime on the freak'n 4th.... :angry:

Ah, i admit its only like 9:40AM here. on the 3RD. so i'll try to keep cool. but i mean i'm gonna be pretty fukn pissed if it aint out today at all. im painting all weekend in the house so i wont have time to play this tomorrow. So if they just press the ok button and get the demo to us i can make the most of today with it. otherwise im gonna say fuk it all, and wait for my full version. Hey im a darn laid back kinda guy, but this will be the day that determins weather i place any trust in gbx @ all anymore,. :angry:

got my guitar fixed, so im gonna thrash the hell out of it til my fingers bleed and then see if gbx have the balls they advertise that they have...

What I don't understand is that when I get into the GearBox forums there are less than 800 people on line? WTH?
The stats show most on-line ever was 3000+.

I am sure plenty of you guys know the software they use, what kind of machine(s) do you need for just 3000 people?

It's currently 01:24 here the United Kingdom. Just to concur with 'Stewox', the forums are down for me, FAC has hung, the only action I'm seeing there is a rotating radioactive symbol. IMHO, there could be a couple of reasons as to why we don't have a demo as of yet and the forums are unobtainable.

1) Gearbox/2k waiting for a specific time that is appropriate for the demo's release (preferably a US daytime), regardless of whether your location is already reading 3rd June.
2) Technical issues due to deploying the demo
3) Influx of users overloading server
4) Gearbox's forums are unobtainable as they don't want people bad mouthing the game.

Well that's my take on it.

Off for some R&R in hopeful time to get stuck into the demo, should it arrive!

Well don't worry.... The servers are down, but the Duke Nukem Forever site is up... so as the FAC club. We could wait btw.... So we'll get a notification in the mail about the demo!

Its kinda weird.... I proxyed the server and then realized I was banned.... Then when I tried without the proxy, it went through the destination. So it was weird how it said that lol....

i hope they come back up, and voila! the demo is there.. but in a realistic world thats too good to be true, the convenience of this hitch is too freakin convienient.

more likely they'll come back and there will be no demo, and some reason why they cant get it to us today. thats my opinion,.
Heck i don't wanna believe that, but what can we say at this point?

theres no room for error, any longer and a demo will be forfeit, as the the game is out on the 10th.
