I sorta already introduced myself in the sad "3DR is shutting down" thread. Long time silent lurker.

Played duke when I was seven, still play it regulary, with the awesome Eduke32 port, the HRP and Duke plus mod. Also doing mapping attemps often, but never finish them. Anxiously waiting for the next version of Eduke. Thats about it.

Since so many fans from the old site have started to appear here, we have concidered going for a more nostalgic approach to make it feel more home to old-timers, in form of a possible 3DR'ish theme, and extended user profiles with various features similar to that on 3DR's forums...

Smilies from 3DR and the old test boards should perhaps also make an appearance here, we definiely will need Ted Turner now... It's good you mention this

Also, welcome Jezza, i remember you (and your sweet avatar ) hope you came to stay, we'll do our best to make the place as comfortable as possible to former 3DR users...

That was also part of the reason I kept it, I thought people would be more likely to remember me that way.
