Light can cause skin cancer.

Source?

Of the EM spectrum only high-frequency ultraviolet radiation, x-rays and gamma rays can have ionizing effects.

I was referring to UV light. It's not visible light (to us), but it's still a kind of light, and of course when people get skin cancer from sunlight, that's what causes it.

Uh, yeah it's "kind of light" but in that sense so are radio waves "kind of light". In common usage light refers to visible light, not to UV rays or radio waves.

It depends on the waves frequency. Radio waves can't break the chemical bonds in DNA like x-rays, gamma rays, and ultraviolet.

Even though cell phone radiation can't cause cancer, it does reduce intelligence among its users. :(
