I downloaded a bunch of levels recently, some which come with BAT files and custom art and it seems like those are the ones that, when i try to load them in Eduke32, look totally weird. I get those spots where there are see-through walls (obviously where the textures are missing). How can i fix this? What directory needs the custom art files? Thanks!

I'd like to help, but i'm not familiar with using custom levels for Duke3D...
I'd advise you to ask this same question on the official 3DR forums in this forum section:

the art files need to be in the same folder as duke... the different art files probably overwrote each other so thats why you get HOM in the map
