Like I said.. I could really careless if you believe me or not. I did talk to george via instant messager and some of the team who left.
This is possible. I used to type with John Romero, but it serves NO purpose to talk about it! Maybe I still do? Maybe John Carmack too! You never know. It isn't that big a deal...

You would do what I did and then when you did... you would obviously talk to others about it.
No, I would not. There are plenty of people here who have talked with lots of people, seen aliens, or have special powers, and THEY are not talking about it... EVEN if it is true... because they know the social implications that make it not matter if it was true.
You answer your own question because YOU KNEW what would happen if you suggested such audacious things, EVEN if they are true. This is a reality we all have to deal with.

Then you'd probably meet some asshole like yourself, saying you never did or the screenshots
are just fake chats.
I am not an asshole... ok, maybe sometimes. I am a Network Engineer with many years in security... it is my job to keep my mouth shut. I was an optimization specialist on an accounting server for a big fat company with a lot of skeletons in their closet books wise. I also do/did monitoring and counter-monitoring. So many things in my witty head. I have learned many thing that I will die with... because they are important. That is why I said that there are things you can know, that come with the responsibility of never talking about them. I never drink alcohol, or do any drug ever... never have. Part of my motivation is things I know that should stay that way.
Don't believe me? Of COURSE you don't, and I actually fine with that... so fine with that, it makes me not have any desire to talk about these areas of my life with anyone... not my girlfriend, not my father, no one... ever.
So no, "you would obviously talk to others about it." I would not... I don't. You are trying to draw attention to yourself through your associations with others is how your post comes across. People don't like that most of the time, even if it were true.
So maybe what you say is true. It is possible. But believing you have influenced the vision or elements of Duke Nukem Forever through George B is extremely unlikely. POSSIBLE, but highly unlikely. And if you did, no one will ever believe that... and you know it, so WHY even bring it up?
Look dude... I am sorry if you feel all wronged. Really I am. But if you have any sanity, you HAVE to understand why no one would believe you, and you have to understand why this is better left unsaid. I never even reacted until you got defensive about being abused. What did you expect? You already knew what to expect and that is really the point of my post.
(damn... of topic again)
Ok... back on topic!
Did anyone ever think Randy feared trouble with putting out the Demo too close to the First Access Club date thingy and getting in trouble for the First Access Club not being exclusive enough and getting sued? So this movement of the dates might have killed two birds with one stone but giving more time to release the Demo?
Another thought I had was this... What if the Demo caused some substantial problem to surface in testing it? Something that needed to be fixed before either could be released.
I really would like to hear the explanation. I find it odd he accepted responsibility for the delay in a way, and said come beat them up, but didn't even try to explain what caused the delay. Maybe he felt it didn't matter because a delay was still a delay? I don't know what to make of all this right now.
Hey... What if you/we found out the delay was for editing tools?
